Come join us Sunday, February 26 at 10-11:30 am for a guided winter walk, plus!
Location: Rideau Trail off Queen Mary Road near Grenville Park. Parking on Queen Mary Road.
During this walking with blue marble event, you can expect to have a 1 hour guided walk to learn about nature in winter. The walk is combined with a scavenger hunt that will get you answering questions, completing experiments, and searching for things. After the walk, enjoy provided snacks and a hot beverage (included in the walk cost).
Finishing the scavenger hunt enters you in a draw for a blue marble prize basket that includes: a geology kit, post cards, and our nature seek book - valued at $66.
$5 per person or $20 per family, kids 5 and under free.
NOTE: the walk is along a wooded snow covered forest trail, thus it is not fully accessible. Our walk will go up one small hill with a steeper decent - canes/toboggans will be provided for the decent!
Minimum 10 people required for this walk to proceed (refunds will be provided if the walk is cancelled due to attendance and you will be informed via email).
