The snow survey is designed to inspire curiosity about the natural world around you. Specifically, learners are encouraged to contemplate snow, how it falls, where it accumulates, and factors that may affect where there is more (or less) snow.

This activity has flexibility for the grade/age range it is suitable for. We envision this activity being used from Grade 4 to 12 (ages 9-17) depending on how you adapt the content. Directly, the Snow Survey activity connects to the curriculum in Grade 7, 8, and 9.
Enhancement activities are meant to supplement classroom teachings by providing experiential learning opportunities and unique ideas to help learners retain information.
